Most of our business clients come across the need for advice on acquiring or selling businesses only once or twice in a lifetime.

We act for small and medium sized business clients on a whole range of transactions of this kind. Typically these are share or asset transactions involving sale of a whole company or business.

But we also deal with management teams involved in MBOs and more complex transactions involving companies purchasing their own shares back, reorganisations etc.

We will deal directly with your other professional advisers and providers, including your accountants, bankers and any business sale agents involved in the deal. In our experience, communication between these parties is key to a transaction proceeding efficiently.

We will be keen to give you realistic guidance on timescales from the start of a transaction, once we have made contact with the other parties involved.

As business people ourselves, as well as lawyers, we understand that you will need to be led through this process and will appreciate quick and pragmatic solutions to hurdles which arise along the way.
